Ever since we moved to France 4 years ago, our guests have consistently asked our advice on house buying in particular and moving to France in general.

We have built up considerable expertise on the housing market in the Charente-Maritime and the adjoining departments. And, having undertaken extensive renovations for ourselves, we have also built up a fund of knowledge in the more practical aspects of building, renovations and the paperwork and bureaucracy inherent in all things French.

Most recently we have been approached to act as a taxi come chauffeur for those house hunting who would prefer not to hire a car and drive themselves in an unfamiliar country. This has had the added benefit of being able to take photographs, take down details, help with language issues, and ask those questions that sometimes one forgets.  Sometimes it’s just nice to have someone with whom to discuss things.

We can offer this assistance on an hourly rate and can give references of satisfied house hunters.
