For 2008 we have introduced the idea of “Carbon Offsetting” your holiday.

We are all increasingly concerned about climate change and our personal environmental impact. Whilst as families it is important to get away from it all we need to do so in a manner with which we feel comfortable.

Therefore, we ask for a completely voluntary contribution of £10 for each car you use or return airline flight you make. This contribution we will use in order to plant new trees or shrubs within our 4 acres of grounds and hence help offset the impact of your holiday journey, whilst at the same time enhancing your and other holidaymaker’s enjoyment of our gardens and grounds by increasing the number and type of trees and shrubs.

Please remember that this is totally voluntary - the £10 can be added to the balance payment of your holiday.
